I retired with my husband in August 2011 and moved to rural Arkansas.  Our plan is to survive as much as possible on the foods we produce on our property as well as things we enjoy making.  I have been an avid beader for several years and grew up sewing clothing and toys. 

We named our property the Funny Farm because we had so much to learn that it has been a great comedy of errors.  I hope you enjoy my hubs.  I'm trying to share what I'm learning and would appreciate your comments and helpful suggestions.
